New 'Band Of The Month' posted, and its not just one band. A plethora of Classic Rock bands that made and shape Rock-N-Roll and bands who should never fade out of a CD player, mp3, etc. are featured.

It surprising how bad the music stations around the New York City area actually are. Thank God for satellite radio.

radio sold out in NYC. that automated system [i want to say it's called JACK] replaced people and stations abandoned traditional formats for more talk radio. for the latter, i will never forgive k-rock, even though at nights i found out they play music. the only good stations are Q104.3 [classic rock], G106.3 [mainstream alternative], 97.5 [jersey classic rock], and 89.5 WSOU [seton hall pirate radio, metal and hard rock as well as alternative to a lesser extent.

for these reasons i am mostly on my ipod when traveling via tapedeck. i would subscribe to satellite radio, but college costs money. itunes has some good internet radio though and i know G106.3 and Q104.3 have internet radio for free as well.
